About the role

Join the Dulux Acratex team in Perth in an exciting opportunity. The Dulux Acratex coatings and product systems have been famous in construction and alterations/additions markets for over 40 years. Dulux Acratex is the preferred choice of products by industry leading contractors and specifiers.

This role is responsible for optimising business profitability and market share in our texture customer segments and associated product categories.

Dulux Acratex provides a comprehensive training and induction program to ensure you are confident and competent across our systems including CRM, products, and associated strategies.

This role will add a key dynamic to the high-performance team across the state and we embrace diversity, different skill sets and experiences to enrich our team ongoing.

Being a sales role within a high-performance organisation, this role would suit a vibrant and outgoing personality as a key part of this role is around people, networking, collaboration, and influence – namely your contractor base, stores and distribution network, internal stakeholders, and industry influencers.

We are looking for somebody that has solid commercial acumen, demonstrated CRM experience, is data driven, strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Expand market presence in specific product categories by building strong relationships with contractors, builders, and industry influencers
  • Focus on direct sales, networking, and using various communication platforms to influence and engage with clients
  • Target contractor segments including renderers, trowel trades, cladding installers, and plasterers, with some businesses handling multiple services
  • Partner with Dulux Trade Centres and Inspirations Stores to drive growth and assist local trade sales teams
  • Engage with the Acratex team statewide to enhance category development and distribution efforts

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Business Development experience within a similar industry or product
  • Strong CRM, IT systems and call planning experience
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a product or service in a sales role
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to provide solutions
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
