Your Role

We're looking for a Maintenance Fitter for our B&D business who will ensure our site performs at its peak each day. As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.

Our Revesby site manufactures the market leading B&D doors range. Our maintenance team have made several positive changes to the site recently and will continue to help us operate at the top of our game.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and participate in site improvement projects
• Identify any plant equipment issues and troubleshoot, providing sustainable solutions and communicating with all stakeholders
• Identify and highlight problems or deviations from the desired process, and lead root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Responding to breakdown situations to repair to all plant equipment as requested by the relevant Manager/Supervisor
• Maintaining all registers, logs, and systems to track repairs, notifications, and work activities

Skills & Experience

• Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions during emergency situations
• Identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of fault
• Strong understanding of safety and environmental practices with a commitment to best practices
