Your opportunity

As a member of the Safety & Sustainability team, you will play a key role in leading the Safety & Sustainability Strategy and improvement plans within the Lincoln Sentry business. In this role, you will cover national sites consisting of branches, distribution centres, office environments and the sales teams.

This position offers an outstanding opportunity to build your career in Safety & Sustainability. Key aspects include:

  • Implementing fatality & injury prevention actions
  • Sustainability projects
  • Systems improvements
  • Supporting line leaders by assisting with health, safety, sustainability, return to work and training improvements

Here’s what you’ll achieve here:

  • Support the development and completion of Lincoln Sentry sites S&S Improvement Plans to ensure compliance with company procedures, standards and legislation
  • Collaborate and participate in site management team meetings
  • Actively work with all members of the DuluxGroup S&S Team for continuous improvement and sharing of learning’s
  • Participate in S&S training and competency development programs and assist sites with safety protocols, policies and procedures
  • Assist with the implementation and optimisation of the Camms incident management system, including training and education for staff
  • Support sites in updating emergency plans, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in health and safety including some experience in a similar role
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Although not essential, it would be great if you have...

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software
  • Previous experience working in Trade Retail, Distribution or industrial environments
