Your role:

We are seeking a motivated and goal-driven professional to join the Dulux Acratex team, specifically working from our Dandenong store in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This exciting role offers a fixed territory, with significant potential for business growth. You will play a crucial role in driving the business forward, focusing primarily on residential construction and new housing projects, with an emphasis on seeking new business and upselling to existing customers.

The ideal candidate will have solid industry experience, and we are particularly interested in someone who can effectively communicate with a diverse community, build strong relationships, and ensure we meet the needs of this customer segment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a consistent call plan in alignment with the national framework, ensuring effective outreach and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Manage and plan contacts and projects through the CRM database to streamline communication and optimize project tracking.
  • Lead the execution of both local and national promotional sales initiatives to boost product visibility and sales performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Ensure you build a competent level of technical knowledge of our products and systems, that includes an ethos of continual learning and self-development.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse communities, to foster strong relationships and business opportunities.
  • Previous experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in a similar industry or product.
  • Commercial mindset, with a problem-solving approach to providing effective solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Demonstrated success in growing products or services within a sales role.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems, IT tools, and call planning.
