If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are customer-focused, and have strong sales and analytical skills, this role is for you! You’ll be managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, but your passion for success and exceeding targets will keep you motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Give back to the communities in which we live and work, with our “Community Action Day” and other programs
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) topped up to your normal pay and 2 weeks paid partner leave available after 6 months
  • We will match up to 4% of your salary to Kiwisaver
  • Enjoy generous discounts on both DuluxGroup products and through our corporate partnerships
  • Enjoy comprehensive, holistic health and well-being support, including our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this key role, you’ll be highly motivated, proactive, and thrive when working independently. You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, always energized by the thrill of chasing and closing a sale. Ideally, you will demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role, with a genuine passion for, or strong knowledge of, horticulture
  • Natural communication skills — articulate and engaging in both written and verbal interactions, with a talent for building lasting connections
  • A results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and influencing outcomes through smart customer insights
  • Solid experience in a retail environment, with a sharp understanding of customer needs and how to exceed them
  • Outstanding time management, organizational, and forward-planning skills — always staying one step ahead!
