Your role

As a key member of the Supply Chain team at our Dandenong South manufacturing facility, this role is responsible for planning, purchasing and managing raw materials and packaging requirements to service the Cabot’s, Dulux, Fosroc and Protective Coatings businesses.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you’ll be tasked with identifying and implementing efficiency improvements in planning, purchasing, materials management and operational processes. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of different stakeholders and teams offering great exposure and the ability to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed production schedules and purchase raw materials and packaging to support production
  • RM and packaging lifecycle management including managing the site stock take and cycle counting processes
  • Work with group procurement teams to drive site safety, performance improvements and cost saving strategies
  • Manage relationships with suppliers

 Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated purchasing and planning experience in complex manufacturing supply chain environment
  • Highly proficient understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive improvements and process enhancements
