Sales Assistant

About the role

We are seeking 2 part-time Sales Assistant's for approximately 20 hours per week, who are passionate about providing excellent customer service to join our re-opening of our Dulux Trade Centre in Parramatta, NSW store. If you are energetic, driven, have a strong work ethic and a passion for people then this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong working relationships with depot/agencies
• Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained
• Cash handling / EFTPOS
• Accurately mix and tint paint
• Assist in maintaining stock levels in store
• Comply with safety standards

Skills & Experience

You’re confident with people, have great communication skills and can easily build strong relationships with peers, customers and clients. You're able to demonstrate a level of physical ability to work with our paint and other heavy products in store at times

Retail Trade Sales experience would be preferred however we are willing to provide on the job training on paint products, application and hardware. Most importantly, you’ll:

• Possess an interest in our products
• Retail/Trade sales experience would be desirable but not essential
• Paint product and application/ hardware experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
• Have the ability to communicate clearly with customers
• Enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues
• Be able to lift heavy products
