The Role
As the Chef, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service, with the smooth day-to-day operation of a commercial kitchen.
- Food preparation and presentation
- Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures & safe food handling practices.
- Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests)
- Management of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils
- Create dishes of high quality that will nourish and delight our guests.
- Assist in overseeing the kitchen team.
About You
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous Chef experience and cooking in a similar environment
- Cert 3 in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification
- Experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
- Proven experience in planning and developing menus
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
- HACCP experience essential
- Current drivers license.
