Discovery Parks, Onslow is a large, busy property offering accommodation and full dining facilities to over 250 work stay guests.

About the Role

As Park Manager of this busy accommodation village, you will hold responsibility for the effective management of all aspects of Village Services, as well as the fulfillment of all contractual obligations in relation to the operation as agreed with the client.

You will ensure that the highest achievable quality of work is maintained across all village services, and that village service operations meet budget constraints and the scope of work.

Your key responsibilities will include and not limited to:

  • Regularly review performance with our clients and the Discovery operations team      
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop your team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Build positive relationships with guests, local communities, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain the core of the business ensuring all facility operations for village are all carried out to a high standard.  
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience.

 About you

  • Extensive skills and experience in hospitality/accommodation management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
  • Strong computer skills with experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
  • Advanced financial acumen (budgets, planning, food COGs and reporting)
  • Skilled in client relations and management
  • Strong understanding of policy and procedure compliance
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experience
  • Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster including 'on-call' shifts

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
