The Role

We’re looking for a natural people leader with a calm head and a love of the outdoors to join us as our Front Office Manager at Discovery Resorts – Lake Argyle.

Duties

As Front Office Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the reception team. From managing guest check-ins to ensuring smooth daily operations and training staff, you’ll be the go-to person for everything front-of-house. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our seasonal ramp-ups and helping to maintain our reputation as one of WA’s most unique places to stay.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a front office or hotel/resort reception leadership role
  • A hands-on approach with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong systems experience (Newbook or similar is a bonus!)
  • Friendly, calm, and confident communication skills
  • The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Lake Argyle. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
