The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll be essential in delivering high-quality meals for our staff and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and cook meals for our staff, maintaining high standards.
  • Manage kitchen workflow during service hours during breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and stock control.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Uphold strict food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure workplace safety.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous Chef experience and cooking in a similar environment 
  • Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with pans, grills, and fryers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Strong organizational and preparation skills
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (essential)
  • Current drivers license.

Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide authority for a Federal Police and Working With Children Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges. If you already have a Police Clearance valid within the last 6 months, please upload a copy to your profile.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
