Discovery Resorts – Lake Argyle

The Roles
Kitchen Hand
- Stacking and unstacking dishwasher.
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and work area.
- Assisting kitchen staff with some food preparation.
- General kitchen duties.
- Working as part of a team to assist Chefs.
Cook
- Responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service.
- Ensure the kitchen complies with sanitation regulations and safety standards while controlling and directing food preparation.
- Cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.
- Liaise with front of house staff to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of daily services.
Skills & Experience
- Fantastic attitude and ready to support in a busy kitchen
- Previous demonstrated experience in a kitchen environment
- Team orientated but also able to work autonomously
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible attitude to hours, including weekends, public holidays and on short notice
- Food handling certificate (essential)
