The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, professional, and driven Houseperson to join our dedicated team at Kings Canyon Resort. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization while contributing to the unique, relaxed outback experience we provide to our guests.

  • Clean and maintain the campground and public areas around the resort, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Assist Housekeeping staff by attending to their requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize and complete jobs and requests in a timely manner.
  • Deliver linen and amenities to guest rooms or designated floors.
  • Carry out project cleaning tasks as required to maintain resort standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory and stock control, ensuring all supplies are available as needed.
  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment as required for guest services or special projects.

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • A fun, energetic, hardworking and lively personality
  • A love for the great outdoors and yearning to explore outback Australia
  • Hotel/Resort experience will be highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays 
  • A current valid drivers license is essential

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. G'day Group offers competitive remuneration and remote living benefits. Before receiving a job offer, candidates must consent to a Federal Police Clearance for criminal records. Additionally, a valid Working with Children's Check specific to the state may be required.

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
