The Role

Location: The Kimberley Region, Western Australia

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and dependable Mechanic to keep our vehicles and marine engines running at their best. This role is crucial to maintaining smooth operations under Kimberley’s tough conditions. From routine maintenance to ensuring full compliance with state and national standards, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our fleet ready for adventure.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of 4x4s, heavy vehicles, and marine vessels.
  • Managing fleet and vessel workbooks to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Keeping everything in top form to navigate the Kimberley terrain and waters safely.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience with 4x4s, heavy vehicles, and marine engines.
  • Australian Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent), or a recognized skills assessment for international qualifications.
  • Unrestricted Manual Driver’s License and MR License (Dangerous Goods Handling License is a bonus).
  • A high level of energy, fitness, and attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic with a positive, lively approach to challenges.
  • A passion for the outdoors and a love for living and working in a remote, natural environment.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working in the Kimberley Region, WA. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
