The Role
As the Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional meals for our staff. You will ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen during service hours, working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook meals for our staff, ensuring high-quality food service
- Oversee the day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring a smooth workflow during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
- Checking quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Assist in stock control and monitoring wastage
- Follow a high standard of food safety and hygiene practices
- Supplier liaison
- Ensuring safe work practices with focus on workplace health and safety

About You
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience and cooking in a similar environment as a Chef
- Commercial cooking Cert 3 (essential)
- Experience on pans, grills and fryers
- Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
- Excellent communication skills
- Happy to work between multiple venues
- Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Ability to prep and organise ahead
- Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
- HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
- Current drivers license.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
