The Role

As a Property & Assets Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds and facilities of our resort while providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will lead and mentor the Grounds & Maintenance team to ensure the highest standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the highest standards of guest experience and resort aesthetic appearance by undertaking all grounds and maintenance activities
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support for the maintenance team, and coordinating work and maintenance schedules in consultation with the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Delivering a high level of customer service, greeting guests with a friendly smile, and offering assistance
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of all maintenance work, including compliance records and certifications
• Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good working order and carrying out servicing or maintenance on all plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
• Cleaning and checking swimming pool operation and water quality in accordance with health regulations

What we look for

• Trade qualification desirable but not essential (carpentry, electrician, plumber, mechanic, etc).  
• Experience working within a similar role in a maintenance or handyperson capacity 
• Strong team leadership experience, with demonstrated abilities to coach others to improve performance 
• Physically capable of undertaking the manual labour demands of the role 
• High level of physical fitness, health and strength 
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster including on call shifts
• Current Drivers’ license essential

Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide a Federal Police Clearance and Working With Children's Clearance .

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
