The Role
As a Property & Assets Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds and facilities of our resort while providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will lead and mentor the Grounds & Maintenance team to ensure the highest standards are upheld.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the highest standards of guest experience and resort aesthetic appearance by undertaking all grounds and maintenance activities
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support for the maintenance team, and coordinating work and maintenance schedules in consultation with the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Delivering a high level of customer service, greeting guests with a friendly smile, and offering assistance
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of all maintenance work, including compliance records and certifications
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good working order and carrying out servicing or maintenance on all plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
- Cleaning and checking swimming pool operation and water quality in accordance with health regulations
What we look for
- Trade qualification desirable but not essential (carpentry, electrician, plumber, mechanic, etc).
- Experience working within a similar role in a maintenance or handyperson capacity
- Strong team leadership experience, with demonstrated abilities to coach others to improve performance
- Physically capable of undertaking the manual labour demands of the role
- High level of physical fitness, health and strength
- Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster including on call shifts
- Current Drivers’ license essential

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
