The Role

Join the culinary team at Lake Argyle and take your career to new heights as a Chef de Partie. In this role, you’ll assist in preparing and delivering high-quality à la carte dishes, buffets, and tailored dining experiences for our guests. This is your chance to refine your craft in a dynamic kitchen set in one of Australia’s most iconic and beautiful locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present exceptional dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage your designated section, maintaining high standards during service.
  • Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP) at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking.
  • A passion for food and a commitment to excellence in presentation and taste.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A dedication to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
  • A current driver’s license is desirable.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
