Lake Argyle Resort, meanwhile, offers experiences like no other—set against the backdrop of one of Australia’s most iconic man-made lakes.Kununurra Cruises takes guests on an evening of dinner and music while the sun sets on lake Kununurra.  Together, we’re all about sharing the wonder of this incredible region, and we need passionate skippers and coxswains to join us.   

The Role

Are you a Coxswain Level 2 or Master 5 ready to swap the ordinary for the extraordinary? Triple J Tours, Kununurra Cruises and Lake Argyle Resort are looking for skilled skippers and coxswains to deliver unforgettable experiences in the breathtaking East Kimberley region.This is more than just a skipper job—it’s your chance to be the face of our tours. Whether you’re guiding guests on the Ord River, cruising around Lake Argyle and Lake Kununurra, or helping with transfers, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable adventures for our visitors. 

Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

  • Coxswain Level 2 or Master 5 Certification 
  • MED 2 Certification (Lake argyle Only)
  • Current Senior First Aid 
  • Manual Driver’s License 
  • Working With Children 

Not essential but is preferred

  • MR License 
  • WA Passenger Transport Drivers Authorisation (or equivalent) 
  • A knack for storytelling and connecting with guests 
  • An interest in wildlife and nature 
  • Mechanical knowledge (always handy!) 
  • WA approved managers and/or RSA

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working n the Kimberley Region. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
