The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Discovery Resorts on Rottnest Island. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality dining experiences that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for excellence.

  •  Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes in line with our menu standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Assist in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
