About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Relationship Coordinator to strengthen and maintain long-term partnerships between Wilpena Resort Management, Indigenous Staff and the Adnyamathanha community. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with the Wilpena Partnering Agreement while balancing cultural and commercial responsibilities.

You will work closely with the General Manager and key partnership stakeholders. You will advise the General Manager on strategies to increase Aboriginal participation and uphold positive engagement with Traditional Owners and community stakeholders.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping authentic cultural tourism and strengthening relationships with Indigenous communities. 

About you

  • Proven ability to build relationships at various levels—from community members to corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong adaptability in changing environments.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage advocacy/social responsibilities separately from commercial objectives.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive cultural and stakeholder discussions while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal communities, with knowledge of cultural protocols, languages, and histories.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, balancing community engagement with back-office commercial duties.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license, as regional travel is required.
