The Role

Step into the kitchen at El Questro and take your culinary career to the next level as a Chef de Partie. You’ll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in creating and delivering exceptional à la carte dishes, breakfast buffets, and bespoke dining experiences. This role allows you to refine your skills while contributing to unforgettable moments for our guests in one of Australia’s most iconic destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to consistently high standards.
  • Oversee your designated section, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP) at all times.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking.
  • A passion for food and attention to detail in presentation and flavor.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • A current driver’s license is desirable.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
