The Role
The SEO Specialist key function is to develop, manage and optimise the full stack program across owned digital channels. It is a newly created role, integral to the growth, evolution and sophistication of the function within the broader digital team. The development of a long-term strategy is a key component of the role with a strong focus on the key pillars of SEO.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Perform site specific keyword research, competitor analysis and trend analysis to inform the content strategy and target new and or missed opportunities
· Daily site health check-in’s and site maintenance and management as required
· Measure and analyse the effectiveness of tactical activity and landing page conversion
· Deliver key insights and scheduled reporting to the business on SEO performance across brands including macro factors, tactical activity and algorithm updates that affect rankings and organic lead delivery
· Leveraging insights from analytics platforms to recommend and action changes to our digital channels
· Work with the internal content team to deliver a targeted and actionable content strategy
You will be required to collaborate with stakeholders and members of the G’DAY Group team to make and action recommendations based on Page and User Experience insights.
Your Experience
As an experienced SEO Specialist, you understand the vital role digital content plays when engaging customers. You will be customer obsessed and naturally curious. Being commercially astute with strong technical skills, your success will be guaranteed.
You will have specialist data skills within analytics, reporting and formula use. You will have demonstrated technical SEO skills with a strong understanding of crawling and indexing. You will have working experience with tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. You will understand the commercial reality of ensuring revenue is factored in when increasing rankings and traffic.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing combined with commercial experience in a similar role are essential. A high level of digital literacy with previous experience using CMS is critical.
You will have an innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused approach to find creative solutions to problems. Keeping up to date with the latest industry developments and sharing your knowledge with the broader team is a critical component to ensure the collective objectives are met.
This unique role is for a highly motivated individual that is interested in joining a fast-paced high-performance team. Reporting to the GM Digital and Personalisation, you will be well supported and empowered to influence the broader organisation and make immediate impact.
