About the Role..

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in your assigned section.
  • Work under the guidance of the senior Chefs.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff.
  • Manage stock levels and minimize waste.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role within events or a premium restaurant is essential
  • Ability and experience in working specific sections within the Brigade
  • A passion for food and a commitment to culinary excellence.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or lengthy tenure in chef role)
  • Food Handling Supervisor certificate
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
