Overview about the role:
The portfolio of the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) provides financial leadership via budgetary and financial management, forecasting, business modelling and analytics. The portfolio of the CFO also provides logistics, facilities and technical services support.
As part of the CFO Portfolio, the Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all financial and statutory accounting processes and for providing regulatory and legislative financial reporting in line with Dental Health Services Victoria’s strategic goals and objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a people leader with strong experience in managing and motivating a finance team focused on accounting and transactional processing. A passionate collaborator who can use their influencing and strong communication skills to promote innovation while ensuring delivery of finance team’s outputs to strictly defined timelines.
About you:
- CPA/CA qualified, including continuing professional development and learning
- 3-7 years demonstrated experience leading a team delivering financial reporting and control
- Financial leadership qualities backed up by exceptional analytical and numerical skills
- Experience in managing, leading and developing work teams
- Experience in the Health Sector is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Department of Health reporting requirements and payroll reporting is highly desirable
