Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the success of our procurement functions, playing a key role in supporting the Director of Procurement with key procurement projects across DHSV portfolios.

You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and providing business support relating to the DHSV Contract Management Register.
- Providing procurement advice, guidance and support to address procurement compliance issues and to build capability across DHSV upholding compliance with DHSV’s Procurement Framework including Probity principles.
- Strong experience in managing a procurement project from start to finish including contract management throughout the term of the contract
- Analysis and classification of DHSV’s procurement spend profile.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes and systems.
- Minimum 1 year experience in managing procurement projects from start to finish including contract management throughout the term of the contract specifically within a government setting.
- Working knowledge of the various Victorian Government/ HealthShare Victoria procurement policies and mandated legislative requirements.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite of programs with a high level of accuracy.
