About Dental Health Services Victoria

At Dental Health Service Victoria (DHSV), we know our team is key to deliver better oral health for Victoria. DHSV is responsible for the delivery of oral health services through The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) and through purchased services from over 50 community dental agencies.

Our team is open and collaborative with a focus on helping to make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll thrive with a team around you of like-minded people, whilst you get your teeth stuck into diverse work. Sounds like a place you want to be?

About the role:

The Electronic oral Health Record (EoHR) project is seeking a strategic Business Analyst to lead the transformation of oral health service delivery across Victoria. This key role will drive the development and implementation of future state requirements for our state-wide electronic health record system, working to deliver a unified Dental Record Number (DRN) solution.

This exciting opportunity will lead the discovery and analysis of business requirements across multiple stakeholder groups, including 50+ Community Dental Agencies across Victoria, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and operational needs.

You will play a pivotal role in leading and fostering high-level stakeholder engagement across executive leadership, clinical leaders, technical, and operational workstreams. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop business processes.

To succeed in this role, you will manage complex stakeholder relationships with the ability to influence positive outcomes and champion innovative solutions.

This position is not a technically focused Business Analyst role. We are seeking applications from candidates who can drive end-to-end business analysis activities that impact system configuration, workflows, and operational outcomes.

You will have:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a clinical team within a primary or tertiary care environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Advanced certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in business process modelling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
  • Expert knowledge in requirements management tools and methodologies and demonstrated expertise in process mapping and workflow documentation.
  • Knowledge of BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) framework.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and be able to work with operational and executive teams.
