About the opportunity

We’re pleased to invite applications for the position of IT Systems Engineer to join our innovative, collaborative and customer focused Group Transformation team based in Brompton, SA.

Our ICT Manager is looking for a tech “all-rounder,” whose versatile and agile approach can be applied to a diverse and challenging mix of tasks and responsibilities; with many opportunities to gain experience and learn new skills.

Your in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, multiple technology systems combined with high level troubleshooting capability across the Microsoft stack will be essential in increasing efficiencies across the business. 

You will need to be available to work on a rotating, out of hours on call roster, one week, (Wednesday to Wednesday) every 4-5 weeks, ongoing.

It will be necessary to work outside of normal business hours in other “as required” situations.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Manage, administer, and support SharePoint intranet services and MS Teams channels.
  • Act as a senior contact for technical issues and support escalations from junior staff.
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues in line with knowledge and capability.
  • Monitor and action against system logs to ensure availability and integrity of all systems and resources.
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials as required.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge bases for the department.
  • Manage software packaging and deployment with MS Endpoint Manager.

About you 

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in a FMCG, sales, or another fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power applications.
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve complex technology issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 and Azure.
  • Administrative experience with Server 2012 and subsequent versions.
  • The ability to learn new techniques and technologies.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to translate complex technical information to simple, easy to understand concepts.
  • Proficiency with MS Endpoint Manager.

Although not essential, ITIL certification will be highly regarded.
