Position Overview: As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing front-of-house operations, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, greeting and interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee inventory and supplies, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness and safety, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
  • Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations is a plus.
