Duty Manager

Position Overview: As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing front-of-house operations, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, greeting and interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversee inventory and supplies, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness and safety, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
- Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations is a plus.
