We are seeking a skilled and creative Camera Operator to join our production team. We are seeking a skilled and creative Camera Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for capturing high-quality footage, a strong understanding of camera equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Camera Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating cameras during filming, ensuring the visual quality of each production is to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate cameras during live events, film shoots, or studio productions.
  • Ensure proper framing, focus, lighting, and angle of each shot according to the director's instructions.
  • Collaborate with the director and other production crew members to execute the creative vision.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on camera equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all equipment.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changes on set.
  • Follow safety guidelines and adhere to all production protocols.
  • Assist with camera setups, lighting, and staging when needed.
  • Keep track of equipment and ensure it's returned after each shoot.
  • Stay current on the latest camera technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Camera Operator or similar role in a film, TV, or live production environment.
  • Proficiency with various camera equipment, including digital cinema cameras, ENG cameras, and stabilizers (e.g., Steadicam, gimbals).
  • Knowledge of camera lenses, framing, lighting, and shot composition.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with directors, producers, and other crew members.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to working in different environments and conditions.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A degree or diploma in film production, broadcasting, or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with remote cameras, drones, or other specialized filming equipment.
  • Familiarity with video editing software or post-production processes.
  • Strong understanding of various production techniques and visual storytelling.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to [X] lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various physical environments, including outdoor locations, studios, or on set.
