About the Role:
DDH1 Limited is Australia’s premier ASX-Listed mineral drilling contractor, serving the Australian mining and exploration industry – from the smallest explorer to the largest miners across all phases of mineral exploration and resource development.
With an ever-increasing workload around the East Coast, we are seeking experienced Drill or Heavy Diesel Fitters who are looking to join a leading provider of technically innovating drilling services. We would be interested in talking to those applicants with comprehensive experience in the mining and or drilling industry who have experience in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Who we’re looking for:
Safety focused Drill or Heavy Diesel Fitters to assist with maintenance on our fleet of 72 multi-purpose surface and underground Diamond Core drilling rigs. This opportunity will see you perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on drill rigs (UDR1200, DE880, DE840, DE710, DE650), Sullair Compressors, and MAN trucks, operating on mine sites and remote locations across Australia!
You will have:
- Trade Qualified with right to work in Australia
- Prior experience as a UG or Surface Heavy Diesel Fitter (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics (essential)
- HR-B Licence (essential)
- Self-motivated, quality focused with an emphasis on workplace health and safety
