About the Role

About the Role

DDH1 Drilling is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to support our HR team .

As the Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for the business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment needs across the business.
  • Performing day-to-day business recruitment needs, including interviewing, booking medicals, candidate reference checking, onboarding document due diligence and issuing contracts.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline to ensure timely recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Delivering inductions to new starters as and when required
  • Developing a program for candidate care with the new starters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with Recruitment Agencies.
  • Coordinate Recruitment system roll-ou.t
  • Work closely with the Perenti HR Services Team and Payroll to onboard new starters.
  • Support the P&C Superintendent in implementing People & Culture initiatives.
  • Preparing and compiling reports as required
  • Provide support to HR and Training as and when required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High-quality communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude that builds relationships with ease.
  • Previous experience in Recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working with Success Factor would be advantageous
  • High level of initiative and a proactive approach to the role
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills, including working independently, frequently under limited supervision.
  • Work under pressure and multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to respond aptly to sensitive situations
  • Strong planning, time management and organisation skills
  • Strong MS Office experience with at least intermediate reporting skills
