Component Rebuild Mechanic

Be home every night with your family, work in Perth and only do day shift on a 10 hour day.

A passionate HDM to work on components and general maintenance/repairs in our Perth Workshop.

Not only overhauling and completing major rebuilds to OEM standards of power train components for a wide range of Heavy Mining Equipment but also be involved in maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment.

The Role:

• Rebuilding final drives, transmissions, torque convertors front/rear end wheel groups and differentials.
• Strip, clean, inspection and reporting of components.
• Working within a dedicated team to deliver a high level of workmanship.
• Managing work scopes to ensure target deadlines are achieved through strong task and time management.

Must haves:

• Australian Recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Qualification
• Valid Australian Driver's licence - Minimum C Class or HR (willing to upgrade).
• Proven rebuild experience on OEM Equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi)
• Knowledge of OEM re-usability guidelines, knowledge of OEM systems (Cat SIS etc)
• High Risk Work Licence - WP, LF.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
