Published At:a month ago
Job no: PK8E7

About The Role:

By joining our regional services team as a Farm Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for managing our valuable farmer relationships as part of our Tasmanian team. You will regularly engage with dairy farmers to help build an understanding of their farm business needs, recommending the right services and resources to help support profitability, sustainability and best practice on their farms.

Central to your success in this role will be your ability to not only build relationships but also create opportunities to deliver meaningful and supported engagement with dairy farmers. You will ensure farmers are aware of, and contribute to, the planning, design and context of resources and programs that Dairy Australia develops. Your aim will be to build knowledge of current and developing issues and share that with both our internal teams and farmers.

Our ideal candidate:

You will bring energy and drive to the role with a focus on delivering value and support to dairy farmers throughout Tasmania. With a background in managing key relationships and providing support to farm businesses your analytical and problem-solving skills will identify where improvements or changes can be made, and you will become a key point of contact for the farmers you support.

Driven by the opportunity to develop new connections and relationships with dairy farmers, as well as maintaining existing relationships established by our Tasmanian team, your knowledge of dairy farming and the dairy industry will support deeper connection and understanding.

Your collaborative approach will ensure the information learnt and gathered is shared to inform and support innovative thinking around the programs and services offered by Dairy Australia and how we can also leverage existing and potential networks for greater efficiency and impact.
