Regional Manager - Murray Region

About the Role: 

As Dairy Australia’s Regional Manager for the Murray dairying region, you will bring contemporary leadership to our on-ground team, driving opportunities to coach, mentor and build capability within the team. You will enhance a team culture that values feedback, service and accountability to deliver impactful services to our dairy farming community.  

You will collaborate to develop and deliver the annual operating and workplans for the Murray region (northern Victoria and southern Riverina) including planning and management of the annual budget for Dairy Australia’s team and services in the region. Working in alignment with the Murray Dairy RDP Board and their Executive Officer you will ensure that extension and engagement delivery are relevant to strategic priorities and regional needs. 

Your ability to build strong relationships with your team, peers and more broadly across the Dairy Australia business will see you collaborate successfully to deliver our services through the dairy community. Locally you will build trusted connections with regional service providers, researchers, regional authorities and other relevant groups to deliver on partnered services or projects within the Murray region.

Ideally you will be degree qualified in agriculture, business/commerce or a related field, or have a significant agriculture background. You can demonstrate a varied skillset with a passion for nurturing high performing teams and building strong stakeholder engagement. Your honed experience in managing reporting requirements and evaluation of success will support our team in achieving objectives. 

Your experience in communicating and presenting to varied audiences will support you in developing networks and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders. You will also bring strong skills in report preparation and process improvement to ensure alignment with our values and efficiency in our ways of working.
