About the Role:

As the National Compliance Manager, you will oversee and lead a dedicated team of compliance and administration professionals. This pivotal role ensures the organisation not only meets but exceeds our obligations across ISO, OHS, and ESG requirements, while also supporting risk management and operational excellence across all sites and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the compliance and administration team
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct and support internal audits across various operational areas
  • Carry out risk assessments in diverse work environments, ensuring risk mitigation strategies are in place
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Maintain and advise on Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation
  • Contribute to and support the organisation’s ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) commitments
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports and action plans
  • Promote a strong and proactive compliance culture across the organisation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to ensure best practice and continuous improvement

About You:

You are an experienced and proactive compliance professional with a strong understanding of national regulations, ISO standard requirements and risk management frameworks. You’re confident in leading both compliance and administrative functions and thrive in a role where you can influence culture, guide teams, and uphold the highest operational standards.

You lead by example, have a strong eye for detail, and are confident navigating complex compliance requirements in a dynamic, multi-site environment. Your ability to communicate and influence at all levels makes you a trusted leader and a key advisor to the business.

Ideally, you bring with you:

  • Proven experience leading a compliance function or team, preferably across multiple sites or at a national level
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001)
  • Capability interpret and practically apply WHS legislation effectively across different operational environments
  • Experience conducting internal audits, producing reports, and implementing corrective actions
  • Experience in leading and overseeing administration functions
  • Working knowledge of implementing ESG frameworks and requirements
  • Experience conducting risk assessments in complex or varied work environments and doing so in a cleaning services environment a distinct advantage
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Willingness to travel interstate as needed, with access to a car allowance arrangement
