WHO WE NEED

Challenger is seeking an enthusiastic, and results driven full time Leading Hand, to work as working leading hands to join our team, working in a premier Aged Care or Independent Living Facility located in Northern Beaches.

Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment is an advantage for this position, but not a requirement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversee and assist the Team in day to day requirements of the cleaning operations
  • Help support the quality of life of elderly residents and make a positive impact to their wellbeing
  • Complete tasks associated with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
  • Cleaning both front of house and back of house areas
  • Follow schedules and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Other duties associated with cleaning requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Availability to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts commencing at 7am
  • Previous experience working as a Supervisor in a commercial and/or housekeeping environments desirable
  • Have a good understanding of the safety elements associated with the job
  • Have a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling
  • Have 2 vaccinations for Covid-19 and a current Influenza vaccination
  • Have a valid police check
  • Have a valid NDIS Workers Check or willing to obtain one
  • Good presentation and grooming
  • Sound communication skills
