Crystalbrook Kingsley has transformed Newcastle’s former Council Administration Centre into an elegant and sophisticated 130-room five-star hotel with a signature rooftop bar and restaurant, lobby bar and café along with two private meeting venues. With the City Hall Civic Theatre, Newcastle Art Gallery and War Memorial moments away, Kingsley is culturally connected, celebrating what has been and what is to come.

 

Roundhouse is positioned on the rooftop of Crystalbrook Kingsley and it is hard to imagine a better vantage point of Newcastle’s harbour, coastline and beyond to Hunter Valley.  Brandishing distinctly modern Australian cuisine, we beat the drum for the region’s abundance of world-class produce with a proudly Novocastrian spirit.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic skills for our trailblazing luxury hotel in the heart of Newcastle - it goes without saying that you will have an unwavering passion and flair for all things Food & Beverage.

  • Section Wait Staff - A-La Carte and Gastro Pub Classics
  • Food and Drink Servers - to suit all tastes and styles

We can offer various shifts, mainly in the evening, on both casual and part time contracts. For those on a current working holiday visa, we request a minimum 6 month working commitment.


ABOUT YOU:

We take great pride in delivering the very best cuisine experience at Roundhouse and the most wonderful social experience in Romberg's Roof Top Bar and at Ms Mary's Bar and Terrace. Because of this we are seeking passionate, engaging and professional food and beverage wizards! 

  • Experience in a high-volume, a-la-carte restaurant is advantageous
  • An absolute passion for your craft
  • A high standard of service and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to anticipate and respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
  • NSW RSA Certificate 
  • POS experience
  • A natural energy and confidence with a fun and positive attitude
  • An innate ability to engage with our guests enhancing their experience and leaving them with lasting memories
