Physiotherapist

We are seeking a caring Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team at Corryong Health. This position is well supported and would ideally suit a graduate or an individual looking to gain further experience. In this role you will:

  • Provide physiotherapy services across various areas including:
  • Acute care inpatient services - work in a multidisciplinary team to provide patient centered care and support discharge planning
  • Outpatient services - provide assessments, develop treatment plans and deliver evidence based interventions for patients referred to physiotherapy
  • Residential aged care - assess residents and work with care staff to optimize physical functioning
  • Falls prevention programs - assess fall risks and design interventions to improve balance, strength and mobility to reduce falls
  • Treat patients with conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological, cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders
  • Use physical and electrical modalities in patient treatments
  • Assess and evaluate programs and treatments using relevant outcome measures and patient goals
  • Participate in coordinated care programs with other health professionals
  • Work with patients and families to implement home exercise programs
  • Complete accurate clinical records of assessments, treatments and patient progress
  • Develop and deliver preventative health and wellness initiatives

Requirements: To join our team, you must:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide a National Police Check, dated within 3 months.
  • Willingness to obtain and provide a NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunization against infectious diseases.
