The role

Are you a caring support worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you have TCI, Pace or Mental Health First Aid? If you answered yes then, WE NEED YOU!

While no two days are the same, one thing is for certain is that you will be a positive role model who will be there to answer questions, provide positive guidance and encourage aspects of the young person's life such as overall wellbeing and career aspirations.

We understand that the role can be quite varied depending on the child and young person you support however, your day-to-day may involve you assisting with homework, cooking, shopping, transportation and laundry.

About you

As the Youth Support Worker, you are empathetic, understanding and have the ability to relate to children and young people in care.

You also have the following:

  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Have completed Certificate 4 or higher in Youth Work, Social Work or other relevant courses.
  • Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening (NDISWC) or Yellow Card
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's License, reliable car & insurance
  • Hope and Healing Certificate (or willing to obtain
  • TCI, ASIST,Maybo, Mental Health FA trained is a big plus!
