Immigration Specialist

Process all non-immigrant visa (F1, H1B, TN, Visitors, etc…) & Green Card applications in partnership with Immigration Law firm

• Process H-1B, TN, O-1 and E-3 non-immigrant petitions, Include creating public access files, determining actual wage, determining the prevailing wage and processing labour condition applications for applicable petitions.

• Process all permanent residency applications, including labour certification, recruitment process, I-140 and I485 filings, in partnership with Immigration Law firm

• Periodically conduct detailed I-9 audits to ensure complete I-9 compliance

• Ensure compliance of Visa and travel regulations

• Manage the monitoring for expiring work authorizations, process visa extensions in a timely fashion

• Interact with foreign nationals on a regular basis and coordinate with external law firm to answer questions and resolve issues

• Utilize a strong working knowledge of immigration policies and procedures to recommend the appropriate immigration strategy

• Review immigration invoices. Escalate discrepancies as needed

• Real time visa tracking and provide weekly update on work permit status to applicants and leads.

• Assist with global immigration on a per need basis across EMEA and APAC

• Coordinating with Finance, Legal, HR teams, visa payments, vendor payments, Master Service Agreements, Company related documents, with HR Salary Compensation, prevailing wages as per country locations, Job Description, Job Title, etc…

• Provide complete solution to queries on visas within timelines.

• Maintaining reports pertaining to visa applications, work permits on regular basis and propose process improvements, etc...

• Coordinate with Payroll Team and Operations team for activation / deactivation of Work Permits before or after employees returns after completion of assignment process while on assignment

• Travel and visa de-brief for the employees traveling abroad • Participate in special projects as needed Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR or Business-related field.

• 6+ years of related experience performing duties listed above

• Understanding of immigration laws, policies and processes
