The role

We currently have an opportunity for a result’s driven Sales Manager to join our Cement & Lime Sales & Marketing team. Based in Munster, this full-time permanent (or part-time 0.8 FTE) opportunity will report directly to the Regional Manager - Sales WA and contribute to the growth of the Western Australian business, with significant emphasis in the mining and resources sector.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating relationships with key clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of products and services. If you are a strong and confident communicator with sales management experience in the mining and resources sector and an interest in forging strong, meaningful relationships, then this opportunity is for you!

The successful incumbent will be rewarded with an attractive salary package including fully maintained company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of exceptional customer service to a vast array of existing and new clients throughout Western Australia
  • Building and influencing internal and external relationships throughout the business to ensure positive customer outcomes
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Develop strong customer relations by executing marketing plans and strategies with consideration to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions
  • Develop strategies to deliver initiatives that support growth
  • Commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure that new processes or behaviors are embedded into the organisational culture for long-term success.

What you will need to succeed

  • Previous experience in bulk sales to the Mining and Resources Sector and account management environment
  • Detailed understanding of intermodal (road / rail) logistics and bulk product handling
  • Confidence and self-motivation to achieve objectives and identify opportunities for growth
  • Ability to develop technical and industry competency quickly and effectively in our products
  • Have proven negotiation and influencing skills gained through experience in a similar role
  • Commercial acumen with an ability to create new opportunities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to travel as required
  • Team player with a hands of approach
