The Opportunity:

Based in Bendigo working with our Community Clients within their homes, as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

Shift times: (With various clients)

Monday to Friday

  • 8.30am-11am, 9.30am-12.30pm, 4pm-6pm and 9pm-11pm

Saturday

  • 10-30am-2.30pm, 10.30am-12.45pm and 4pm-6pm

Sunday

  • 8am-12pm and 10am-1pm

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Australian Drivers Licence (P2 minimum), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, night (active or passive)
