The Opportunity:

Based in Helensvale as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

• Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
• Providing support with hygiene and personal care
• Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
• Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
• Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

Shift times:

• Various shifts between 6am to 10pm and Active and passive night - 10pm to 6am

*Additional shifts available in surrounding houses.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
• Experience as a Disability Support Worker
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
• Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon & active nights
• Mealtime management
• Manual Handling with hoist transfer experience
• Complex care experience including bowel care and PEG feeding
