The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Bendigo.

You will be responsible for supporting our Italian client located in the northern suburbs with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Fluency in Italian
  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Australian Drivers License (minimum P2), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
