The Opportunity:

Reporting to the General Manager, Clinical Services the Quality & Risk Manager will be responsible for working across Claro to ensure the highest standards of service quality are delivered, in line with all legislative requirements, leading associated regulatory audits. The position will lead a discrete team of quality analysts and administrators; working with operational teams to identify and support service improvements. This role will work closely with Claro Clinical Practice Managers and Service Delivery Managers to ensure quality, risk and compliance projects and initiatives are realised.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Leading the Claro Quality Improvement Plan which outlines activities to deliver improved outcomes for customers.
  • Collecting and analysing data and trends on aspects of quality, risk and safety and report findings that stimulate continuous improvement
  • Leading the internal audit function to identify areas for ongoing improvement
  • Guiding improvements in achieving new staff mandatory compliance and maintaining current staff compliance
  • Leading risk management across the business, including maintaining and reviewing risk register, identifying and escalating risks that arise, and ongoing oversight of IMS (Riskman).
  • Monitoring business risk, ensuring all complaints, compliments, continuous improvement actions and audit/risk assessment outcomes are actioned in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Providing regular compliance reporting to key stakeholders and contribute (as required) to ELT and board reporting.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in quality services management including audit
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in the Community Services sector including NDIS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outcome and delivery focused with strong time management skills meeting stakeholder expectations
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills 
  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing or in health-related field (Preferred)

  • National Police Certificate
  • Current Driver’s license
