The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about helping others? Do you have experience working with individuals who have an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)? Are you tech-savvy and enthusiastic about music? If so, we want you to join our team! We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Support Worker to assist our client with an ABI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys using their problem-solving skills and has an interest in technology and music. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  • Providing basic assistance with the use of computers and Android phones

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) will be highly regarded

What shifts are we offering?

  • Monday 1pm to 3pm
  • Tuesday 11am to 3pm
  • Friday 3:15pm to 6:45pm
