The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics Engineer / Developer with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, optimising data transformation processes, and automating reporting workflows.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis and collaborate with business teams to understand complex use cases.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Fabric, and Power Automate.
  •  Optimise SQL queries to enhance performance and streamline data transformation processes.
  •  Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and curate data from multiple sources (on-premises/cloud, internal/external).
  • Create automated reporting solutions using Power BI Report Builder (paginated reports).
  • Work with version control and deployment workflows using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in data-related roles.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, while maintaining stakeholder engagement.
  • In-depth technical expertise in Business Intelligence and data engineering.
  • High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and data management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
