The Opportunity: 

The WFM Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of client schedules and support worker rosters within Community, Aged Care, and Accommodation services. This role requires meticulous organisation and expertise in scheduling and adjusting rosters to ensure service fulfilment and prevent service gaps.

As a leader, the WFM Team Leader supports, trains, coaches, and develops their team to foster a high-performing and engaged culture. They manage people metrics effectively and collaborate closely with the Head of Workforce Management to apply workforce planning principles, contributing to sustainable growth and a compliant working environment.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Supporting in onboarding, training, coaching, supporting and developing the Workforce Management team
  • Create an engaged and high performing culture through motivation and engagement
  • Effectively manage people metrics (performance, talent, retention, career progression, incidents)
  • Host regular team and individual meetings
  • Challenge existing processes and work with the team to develop efficient, structured processes.
  • Observe and validate results and behaviours
  • Provide recognition and celebrate success
  • Demonstrate professional behaviour and commitment to care by contributing to Claro’s values
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of staff performance including participation in annual  performance reviews.
  • Ensure staff are aware of and work towards organisational and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have demonstrated examples of leadership skills and qualities and commitment to supporting teams and individuals
  • Make informed rostering decisions using workforce management techniques and data-driven reporting.   
  • Have meticulous organisation and attention to detail with evidenced examples applied to scheduling or workforce management
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, appropriately matching customer needs and preferences with support worker capabilities
  • Effective communication, working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver customer satisfaction, first time
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, continuous quality improvement and organisational change
  • Willingness to learn and commitment to uphold the Claro values

 Additional Requirements: 

  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of current work rights in Australia
  • Current Drivers licence
