Marketing Projects Specialist

Join Christchurch Airport, one of New Zealand’s most dynamic commercial hubs, as a Marketing Projects Specialist. This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity (13-14 months) to cover parental leave, working 25–30 hours per week. About the Role:

As a Marketing Projects Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering marketing projects from conception to execution. You'll work across the commercial portfolio and broader airport initatives, ensuring our brand and customer experience remain at the heart of everything we do.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

✔ Managing marketing projects—defining scope, objectives, and timelines

✔ Creating marketing briefs for internal teams and external agencies

✔ Overseeing marketing assets and wayfinding signage

✔ Engaging stakeholders to drive project success

✔ Ensuring brand integrity and customer-centric marketing solutions

About You:

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have:

✅ Tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience

✅ 5+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably across multiple channels (digital, print, social, retail)

✅ Project management experience—able to juggle multiple deadlines

✅ Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal

✅ Strong stakeholder engagement skills—able to build relationships and influence outcomes

✅ Experience working with agencies, designers, and suppliers
